BOX MONTHLY WEBINAR
Scott Ebeling, Director of Pricing and Strategic Solutions, and Allison Coldewey, Pricing and Solutions Manager, will be hosting September's webinar on September 13th, 2023 at 10:00am CST.
In 7th grade, I had a teacher named Miss Anthe Anagnostis, who we referred to as Miss “A”. Miss A was one of those teachers who was involved in everything including the middle school gossip, but she was a teacher you never forget.
Miss A had a wooden sign above her chalk board that said “Pride in your Work”. Miss A was the daughter of first generation immigrants and always pointed to that sign before you turned in your assignments. She reminded us that there was something on the line every time you displayed your work. It was a reflection of you, your character, your attention to detail, your ability to write a story, or detail a book. At the end of the year, she always gave every student a picture of her sign. In preparing for this note, I scoured everywhere for it, because up until a few years back, I still had that picture. I took it to college with me. It became very important to me.
Miss A taught me something way more valuable than 7th grade English Literature…she taught me that value of your work.
You’ll never hear me complain about working. Aside from God and family, I think work is a stable connection to the infinite creative of life. When you view your work as a modern day alchemist who turns resources into gold, it gives us the chance to make something we can take pride in! TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK!
As we approach Labor Day, I think of the greatness of work and labor and the ability to build something everyone can be proud of! Thanks You, Miss A!
